Rotherham United have sent Curtis Tilt out on loan to Wigan Athletic to get some games under his belt after being sidelined for most of his time with the Millers – subject to EFL and FA ratification.

The twenty-nine year old defender came to the New York Stadium in January, for an undisclosed fee, thought thought to be in the region of £100,000, from Blackpool but managed just sixty minutes before the coronavirus stopped football in it’s track. Curtis had a hip problem when he was at Bloomfield Road and during the enforced lockdown had an operation on a hip problem and has only just returned to training.

So, sending the six feet four inches defender out on loan will give him the games that the Millers management obviously think he needs before he joins the rest of his team mates in the Championship.

All at Vital Rotherham wish Curtis ‘all the best’ while with Wigan, where he has gone until January.
