Rotherham United could be about to lose another ‘star’ player if we are to believe what’s coming out of Lancashire today.

The Burnley Express are telling us that Burnley are interested in Millers midfielder Ben Wiles.

There are even some reports on social media that it’s a ‘done deal’ for the twenty-three year old.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard rumours about Ben leaving the New York Stadium, the first ones surfaced in May when it was thought he was off to Huddersfield Town.

Born and bred in Rawmarsh Ben came through the academy with Rotherham and has made over one hundred and thirty appearances in all competitions, fifty-three of those last season where he also scored ten goals, one of those a cracker at Wembley for the first equaliser in the Papa John’s Trophy final.

He is in the last year of his contract and I suppose that could be why clubs are suddenly taking an interest in him.

Would he stay or would he go? I’d be surprised if it’s the latter but, as we know, football is a funny old game.
