Chieo Getting ‘Better’ Every Day

|

Rotherham United winger Chieo Ogbene says that every day he is getting ‘better and better’ after having a knee operation that, sadly, will keep him from playing for some weeks although he is happy to be back at the training ground.

Speaking to the Official Site the twenty-three year old said that he is in good spirits and the support from the management team and his fellow players is helping him stay positive.

‘The surgery was successful,’ Chieo said, ‘and I’m pain free which is very important. I’m really good, emotionally, mentally and physically and I’ve got good people around me.

‘I’m coming into training because I want to be. No one gets left behind here and when I’m around them I sometimes feel I’m not really injured.’

Good news from Chieo and we can’t wait to see him back on the pitch.

Meanwhile the Millers are being linked with Derby’s Florian Jozefzoon who would be a replacement for Chieo until he is on the mend.
