Rotherham United make the trip to the Highbury Stadium to take on Fleetwood Town in the second round of this season’s Carabao Cup.
The Millers and Cod Army have met once before in this competition which was in 2014 when it went under the guise of the Capital One Cup. The game at the New York Stadium was goalless at full-time with a Matt Derbyshire penalty in extra time giving the Millers the win and a second round tie at the Liberty Stadium against Swansea City.
Crewe Alexandra were the opponents at the New York Stadium for the first round earlier this month which saw the visitors take the lead five minutes into the second half. Sam Nombe equalised five minutes later and Hakeem Odoffin got the winner with four minutes of the game to go.
Fleetwood came up against Championship side West Bromwich Albion in their first round with the Baggies going one-up on eight minutes at the Highbury Stadium. Four minutes later Ryan Graydon made it one-all and just after the half-hour mark a Ronan Coughlan goal won the game for the hosts.
