Rotherham United have signed Mickel Miller from Scottish Premiership side Hamilton Academicals who has signed a two year deal at the New York Stadium.

Born in Croydon the twenty-four year old came through the Youth Ranks with Carsholten Athletic making his debut for the first team in April 2014 and went on to be a prolific scorer for the Ishmian League side and had a trial with Rotherham neighbours Sheffield Wednesday in 2017.

January 2018 saw the forward move to Scotland to New Douglas Park and saw him make his debut for the Accies a couple of month later. Mikel went on to make sixty-seven appearances, twenty-six of those in the cut-short 2019/20 season, scoring twelve times.

When the rumours first appeared I was a little doubtful that we needed another striker and wondered how many games he’s actually get. But, of course, we are going in the Championship and another striker on the books can’t be anything but good really can it.

All at Vital Rotherham welcome Mikel to the New York Stadium.
