April 26th hasn’t been too kind for the Millers over the years, with just 3 wins and a draw coming from 10 games.
Last time out came in 1997,and the rock bottom and already relegated Millers took on York City at Millmoor, themselves battling for Division 2 safety.
A goal on the stroke of half time from City’s Rodney Rowe followed by a Neil Tolson goal on 68, gave York the 3 points needed to guarentee their safety.

Prior to that was a goalless draw at Turf Moor, Burnley in 1994.
This Tuesday night encounter saw Millers keeper Matt Clarke keep his 4th successive clean sheet and his 6th in 7 games.

Rotherham’s last win on this day was back 21 years and a 4-1 Millmoor victory over Bournemouth.
This victory ended a Millers run of 7 games without a win.
Northern Ireland International Colin Clarke scored his 11th goal in 12 games for Bournemouth, but goals from Mike Trusson, Mick Gooding, Tony Simmons and Dean Emerson gave the Millers all 3 points.

The other Rotherham victories came in 1980 with a 1-0 win over Gillingham at Priestfield stadium, Billy McEwan scoring the games only goal to inflict Gillingham’s 4th successive defeat.
Also a 3-2 Millmoor win over rivals Doncaster Rovers in 1947.
Len Hainsworth, Stewart McLean and Jack Shaw goals giving Millers fans bragging rights over their neighbours.
