Rotherham United defender Wes Harding has joined Championship rivals Millwall.

In a message that said he’d enjoyed his time at the New York Stadium, the Jamaican international tweeted, ‘Rotherham United Football Club, it’s been a pleasure. From the lows of a crippling relegation to the highs of a deserved promotion and thrilling cup win.We created history together and I’ve enjoyed it all.

Wes joined the Millers in August 2020 from Birmingham City and he made his debut in a Carabao Cup game at home to Salford, his first league game coming a week later. His first goal coming the following season in the Papa John’s Trophy tournament which the Millers went on to win, Wes coming on around the hour mark at Wembley. All in all he made one hundred and forty-one appearances in a Rotherham shirt, forty-six of those last season which also saw him get his first league goal which was at home against Blackpool.

All at Vital Rotherham wish Wes ‘all the best’ in his future away from the Millers.
