Rotherham United welcome Fleetwood Town to the New York Stadium tomorrow afternoon which sees sixth place taking on ninth in the League One table.

The Millers come into this game on the back of a two-all draw away at Southend last weekend but their last home game was a one-nil loss to Rochdale.

Fleetwood’s last away game saw them visit neighbours Blackpool and come away with nothing from a three-one loss while last Saturday saw them go in front at home to Gillingham only for the visitors to get a late equaliser and point.

Speaking to IFollow Click Here Rotherham Manager Paul Warne is expecting Fleetwood to ‘take the Millers on’ this weekend. ‘We’ve got to impose ourselves against a team who are third or fourth best in the league possession wise. Southend are a really good team with really good set-pieces and good experience through the middle of the team.’

Good news for the Millers is that Richard Wood is back in training but is still some way to go before we’ll see him on the pitch again. Jamie Lindsay is away looking after his poorly baby boy – here at Vital Rotherham send all our best wishes to the family – and there are a couple of players suffering with illness but Matt Crooks will be back after suspension.

The Cod Army’s Manager Joey Barton told their Official Site that it will be a ‘tough encounter’ against a team he thinks will be ‘there or thereabouts’ at the end of the season. ‘Rotherham’s expectations will be to get promoted and they certainly have the infrastructure. They have lots of talented players and we’ll have to be on our game on Saturday.’

The Referee on Saturday is Peter Wright from Merseyside.
